A very special exhibit is in Halifax to mark the start of Remembrance Week.

From Vimy to Juno” is a national exhibit that explores the connections between defining moments in Canadian history. It also helps share the experiences of those who fought in both World Wars.

“The stories that are told in the ‘From Vimy to Juno’ exhibit are the stories of Canada,” Jenna Misener, executive director of the Juno Beach Centre, said.

The exhibit, which is set up at the Halifax Central Library, also features a collection of artifacts.

“We’re coming up on the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, 2019 is the 75th anniversary of D-Day, so these two iconic places in France are really so important to Canadian history and it’s the stories of all of our great grandfathers or great grandmothers,” Misener said.
