Manitoba Underdogs Rescue’s Fix It spay and neuter initiative is in Long Plain First Nation October 29 and 30.
The clinic hopes to fix 40 dogs, which costs around $10,000. However, organizers said fixing just 40 dogs will prevent over 500 puppies in just one year.
The spay/neuter initiative, dubbed Project Asha, was made possible thanks to the leftover funds left from donors wanting to help with Asha’s rehabilitation.
Asha is the puppy who was seen in a disturbing video back in July being hurled through the air and landing on the pavement.
