WATCH ABOVE: The city has issued a preventative boil water advisory for part of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce as crews work on a broken water conduit – Oct 29, 2016

A preventative boil water advisory has been issued for parts of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough.

A temporary interruption of  service was scheduled to allow crews to work on a broken water conduit on Décarie Boulevard South, between Snowdon Street and Côte-Saint-Luc Road.

Service is expected to resume by 11 p.m. Saturday but residents are being advised to bring any tap water to a rolling boil for a full two minutes before consuming it.

City officials insist it is a preventative measure only.
