Teen killed, 5 people injured in crash northwest of Saskatoon

A teen has been killed and five other people were injured following a crash northwest of Saskatoon.

The collision between two vehicles happened Tuesday just before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of highways 16 and 684.

Police said a 17-year-old girl was declared dead at the scene.

Global News has confirmed Cassidy Gosling, was killed in the crash.

“Cassidy had the ability to brighten any room she walked into with her welcoming smile and arms,” states a Gofundme page that has been set up to cover funeral expenses and family travel costs.

“She was caring, loving and had a laugh that was truly unforgettable. Cassidy had an amazing life ahead of her. She will forever be remembered in our hearts.”

Four teen boys in the vehicle were taken to hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 70-year-old man, was also taken to hospital in stable condition.

Warman RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
