The first act in Winnipeg’s new football stadium will not be the Blue Bombers.
Grammy-winning songstress Taylor Swift will play Investors Group Field June 22nd, 2013 in a major concert announced Monday.
Swift’s “Red Tour” will entertain crowds in 45 cities next year. Winnipeg is one of only 9 locations where the concerts will be held in stadiums: putting this city’s new 33 thousand seat stadium in company with such venues as Detroit’s Ford Field, Dallas’s Cowboys Stadium, Toronto’s Rogers Centre, Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium, and Chicago’s Soldier Field.
