WINNIPEG — Tyler Harper said the Bear Clan turned his life around and now he wants to pay it forward.

Tyler Harper said without the Bear Clan he doesn’t know where he would be today. He’s spent some time in trouble with the law in the past, but now thanks his heroes for helping him turn that around.

“The bear clan are heroes to me. They’re heroes out in the streets. People think they’re heroes. My friends think they’re heroes. They made a lot of change,” said Harper.

Harper created a music video called Demons with the help of the program Just TV.

He created the music video as a tribute to how the Bear Clan picked him up from the ground and also to express the demons he faced while he was in trouble with the law in his past.

The Executive Director of the Bear Clan, James Favel, said he’s beyond flattered about how much Harper made his music video about Bear Clan.

“One of the things we’re trying to do is reach out to youth and things like that. This video is going to work together to help us reach more youth. Showing we have this kind of youth support with this organization is fantastic,” said Favel.

Harper said he hopes his music video shows other youth that they too can change their lives around.
