A 35-year-old man from Regina is facing multiple charges of theft, driving offences and obstruction following an incident on Highway 1 Friday evening.
According to RCMP, a traffic stop was conducted on Highway 1, about eight kilometres west of Broadview, Sask. at around 6 p.m.
Police say the driver was not cooperating with police. For safety reasons, police closed down both directions of Highway 1 for a short period of time.

He was taken into custody and will be released for court in Moosomin.
That stretch of Highway 1 has been re-opened.
