WINNIPEG — Days away from puck drop, but already the Heritage Classic buzz is surrounding the city.

The ice is out at Investors Group Field, the gear is flying off the shelves at stores, and the fans have started to arrive. But, they’re not the only ones. Alumni hockey players have made their way to Winnipeg to take in the buzz before hitting the ice on the weekend.
The final touches are being put around the city. Signage around city windows and streets and Winnipeg Jets are donning their new Heritage Classic toques.
