Harvest continues to be stalled in Saskatchewan.

Frequent rain and snow, along with cooler temperatures are keeping farmers out of the field.

The latest Saskatchewan Agriculture crop report states little progress was made in the past week, with 81 per cent of the crop combined and 15 per cent swathed or straight-cut.

The five-year average for this time of year is 97 per cent combined.

There were reports that a few producers in the southeast were able to combine canola and flax this past weekend.

Most areas reported rain in the past week, and parts of the northeast and northwest received snow. In the Meadow Lake area, 35 centimetres of snow was reported.

With the wet field conditions, some farmers are saying the ground will have to freeze in order for them to combine the remaining crops in the field.

It is also possible that some crops will be left out over the winter.
