Edmonton police were called to investigate a stabbing on the city’s north side early Tuesday morning.
Police said a man was driven to the Royal Alexandra Hospital shortly before 2:30 a.m. with a non-life-threatening stab wound to the chest.

Officers were told the stabbing happened near Yellowhead Trail and Wayne Gretzky Drive, but were trying to get more specifics from the victim and locate the initial crime scene.
Police could not say if there were any suspects.
