Police are investigating after a fisherman found the body of a dead woman floating on Rivière des Prairies near Highway 19 in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.
Officers were called at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday to Gouin Boulevard, near Lambert street.

After bringing her body was back to shore, investigators searched the area for a bike as the woman was found wearing a helmet.
Police still haven’t identified the woman, but they say she is between 45 and 60 years old.

Investigators said her body doesn’t show signs of trauma.
However, police aren’t ruling out any criminal acts until they have the results of the autopsy, which are due within the next 48 hours.
