Vader’s preliminary is to be held in provincial court in Stony Plain, Alberta, between September 9th and October 25th of next year.

Neither Vader nor his lawyer appeared in court in Edson when the dates were set.

A pre-trial conference involving the defence, the Crown prosecutor and a judge is set to resume on December 14th.

A burnt-out motorhome belonging to the McCanns was found west of Edmonton two days after they were last seen, but their bodies have never been found.
