Global Saskatoon meteorologist visits Pope John Paul II School in Saskatoon

There is a new set of Global Saskatoon “SkyTrackers” at Pope John Paul II School.

On Tuesday, Grade 4 and 5 students spent time with meteorologist Peter Quinlan to learn about the different types of precipitation.

“It’s always inspiring to see the excitement these young SkyTrackers have to learn about the weather! At one time I was a budding young student like them so it’s the least I can do to give back,” Quinlan said.

“The students at Pope John Paul II School were a great group with tons of great questions! They blew me away with what they’ve already learned in their weather unit.”

This was the 13th weather school Quinlan has taught in the city.
