Four people have been charged after copper wire was stolen in two unrelated thefts from the same compound east of Saskatoon.
The first theft happened on Sept. 14 at the compound located in the Colonsay, Sask., area.
Police said officers recovered the stolen copper wire, along with other offence related property, when they searched a home in Young, Sask.

Two people have been arrested.
Raymon Hounjet, 43, who is from Young, is charged with break, enter and theft, and possession of stolen property, along with three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
He made his first court appearance in Saskatoon on Sept. 16.
Shannon Rausch, 39, who is from Saskatoon, is charged with break, enter and theft, and possession of stolen property.
She will appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Nov. 19.

The second theft happened on Sept. 24.
Police searched a home on the Grandora district where they said they recovered the copper wire and returned it to its owner.
Two people were arrested.
Shawn Johnson, 50, of Grandora and Dean Kocay, 49 of Saskatoon are charged with break, enter and theft, possession of stolen property and possession of break-in tools.
Both appeared Monday in Saskatoon provincial court.
Mounties said other items believed to have been stolen were also recovered at the Grandora home and further charges could be laid.
