Rosie O’Donnell defended herself on social media Monday night after Donald Trump dragged a nearly decade-old feud with the former TV host into the presidential debate.
During the debate, Hillary Clinton called out Trump for calling Alicia Machado, 1996 Miss Universe winner, “Miss Piggy” and made reference to times she said Trump has called women “pigs, slobs and dogs” and other misogynistic remarks.

“You know, Hillary is hitting me with tremendous commercials. Some of it’s said in entertainment, some of it’s said to somebody who’s been very vicious to me, Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump explained. “I’ve said some very tough things to her and I think that everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.”
O’Donnell was quick to defend herself on social media and tweeted: HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT.
She fired off a second tweet calling Trump an “orange anus” while sharing a video of a segment from talk show The View, where the TV personality said the feud began.
“The 5 mins orange anus can’t seem to get over — tell the truth – shame the donald” O’Donnell tweeted.
In the segment, O’Donnell impersonates Trump while discussing a Miss USA 2006 winner, Tara Conner.
“Listen, he annoys me on a multitude of levels,” O’Donnell said during the segment. “He’s the moral authority? Left the first wife, had an affair. Left the second wife, had an affair. Had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America?”

Apparently, it was those comments from O’Donnell that sparked the feud and led to Trump calling The View co-host a “true loser” and “fat,” among other names.
