McGregor Armoury opens its doors to the public

WINNIPEG — McGregor Armoury showcased soldiers and their equipment Sunday afternoon for the public to get up close and personal.

The Open House was hosted by the Fort Garry Horse at McGregor Armoury Sunday. The equipment and soldiers from Winnipeg-based units in 38 Canadian Brigade Group were highlighted and showcased.

Soldiers took time out to speak to members of the public that came by to share stories and talk about what it means to be a soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve.

The event included outdoor and indoor displays, including Close Quarter Combat and a simulated Task Force Command Post, performances and entertainment.
