The team secured the American Association title on Monday with an 11-4 win over the Wichita Wingnuts in the deciding game five.
“I love every last one of these guys.” said outfielder Reggie Abercrombie. “It’s amazing what they do, man. These guys, like I’ve been saying all season, resilience. These guys go out and bust their ass everyday man. I’m proud of every last one of them. This right here is the sweetest thing in the world.”
