WINNIPEG — Fire crews were busy battling four fires in Winnipeg’s North End early Thursday morning.
Redwood Avenue Fires
Two of the fires broke out side-by-side in the 600 block of Redwood Avenue around 3:15 a.m.
The fire started on the second floor of one home before jumping over to the other.
All residents self-evacuated and there were no injuries.
Aberdeen Avenue Fires
Just one block over, two other fires broke out in the 600 block of Aberdeen Avenue at the same time.
Smoke was billowing from the homes, but crews say everyone inside escaped safely.
There is no damage estimate so far and the investigation is ongoing.
