Darrel Patton/Global News

Victoria Police are looking for a suspect after a 150-pound Rottweiler allegedly attacked two people on the grounds of a local school.

The attacks are alleged to have taken place on the grounds of a school in the 3000-block of Quadra Street around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

One of the victims was a child at the school, the other a teacher who attempted to intervene.

Both were left with non-life-threatening injuries.

When officers arrived, the alleged owner of the dog had left the scene and given the victims a false name and phone number.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman, in her late 20s to early 30s. She has a slender build, with curly blonde hair, standing about five feet and eight inches tall. She was wearing a grey tank top and black pants.
