Police are responding to a serious crash involving at least one car in Vancouver this morning.

Around 4 a.m., a vehicle travelling on West 4th Avenue at Anderson Street lost control and hit a pole.

Two passengers were ejected from the vehicle, while the driver remained trapped inside.

The driver had to be extracted and all three occupants were taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Vancouver Police say the cause of the collision has yet to be determined, but speed and alcohol are being considered as factors at this time.
