Calgary Transit introduced changes to some of its bus routes on Monday.
Fifteen new and modified routes have been added. The routes primarily impact the northwest, but some commuters in downtown Calgary will also be affected.
The changes follow a transportation review conducted in February and March 2016. The City of Calgary added the new routes in response to feedback from transit riders. It says it used existing resources to help improve service.
Service will be impacted in areas near the University of Calgary, SAIT and some shopping centres in northwest Calgary.

Transit staff will be at Brentwood and Dalhousie stations on Monday and Tuesday and at Crowfoot Station on Tuesday to answer questions about the changes.
Guides were also mailed to homes in affected areas in August.
