Winnipegger Alex McKay is returning home to continue his football career.
The offensive lineman has been added to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers‘ practice roster. His signing comes a little more than a month after he was released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

McKay played his entire collegiate career with the Manitoba Bisons. He started all 32 regular season and seven playoff games during his time with the Herd. McKay was also selected to participate in the 2015 CIS East-West Bowl.
The 25-year-old was selected by Saskatchewan in the sixth round of the 2016 CFL Draft. He was cut by the Roughriders on July 20.
The Bombers have also released international receiver Kris Adams.
