Vancouver Whitecaps captain Pedro Morales indicated this season may be his last with the MLS club.

When asked by Global News whether his time with the ‘Caps is coming to an end, the Chilean midfielder said, “Yeah, maybe. You never know,” adding that soccer is a sport where things constantly change.

As for whether he may move to another MLS club, Morales was uncertain.

“I don’t know. I am really happy here,” he said. “My family is really happy here the last few years. I don’t know. People change. Situations in football change always. I just try to enjoy every weekend.”

Morales has scored six times this season, his last goal coming back in May. Four of those goals came via penalty kicks. Injuries have taken their toll on Morales, who is taking up a designated player spot and earning $1.2 million this season.

The 31-year-old is signed through the 2016 season with an option for 2017.
