A large fire engulfed a home in Maple Ridge Thursday night.
It is believed that the flames broke out in the carport of the home on Greenwell Street before quickly spreading to the rest of the house.

The fire broke out just after 8:30 p.m. and was first noticed by neighbours.
All four people in the home got out safely and crews were able to prevent it from spreading to neighbouring homes.
Maple Ridge Assistant Fire Chief Mark Smitton says there is nothing at this time to indicate the fire was suspicious.
