A sawed-off rifle was seized by Saskatoon police from a bike riding teen.
The teen was spotted by an officer riding a bike on the sidewalk in the 200-block of Avenue C North just before 2:30 p.m. CT on Thursday.

The teen refused to stop for the officer, but the officer was eventually able to stop the bike and take the teen into custody.
Police said a search of the youth turned up the sawed-off rifle along with a large knife.
He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The 16-year-old boy is facing several weapons related charges as well as breach of probation.
He is scheduled to be in Saskatoon provincial court on Friday morning.
