One person is dead after being hit by a car in Surrey.
The incident happened just after 4 p.m. on Tuesday on Highway 99 northbound at the 16th Avenue overpass.

Police are not releasing too many details at this time but are asking anyone in the area who may have witnessed the collision to contact Const. Mark Wiebe at 778-290-2400.
The driver is co-operating with the investigation and police say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
