Fire at Miami power plant after reports of explosion

Miami officials say the fire at a Florida Power and Light substation, following reports of an explosion Tuesday afternoon, is under control.

So far no injuries have been reported, according to the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.

As many as 27,000 people are out of power as a result, NBC reports.
