A 24 year old man is dead after an ATV crash, about 30 kilometres north of Athabasca.
Athabasca RCMP were called to the collision on Secondary Highway 813 around 11:30, Saturday morning.

Officers say the man on the quad was travelling south in the ditch, when he made an abrupt turn to cross the highway and struck the side of a pickup truck.
The victim was thrown from the ATV and sustained serious head trauma. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Athabasca RCMP in conjunction with the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office are continuing with the investigation. RCMP say no charges will be laid.
The victim’s name has not been released.
