SUV crashes into Saskatoon house after hitting parked car

A crash in Saskatoon on Monday morning has left one car destroyed and a house damaged.

Police said a 16-year-old girl was driving a red Honda CRV westbound on Ruth Street near Dufferin Avenue just before 5 a.m. CT when she hit a parked Hyundai Accent, ramming it into the middle of the street.

She then lost control and crashed into a house.

Police say the girl suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

No one else was injured.

The girl has been charged with driving without due car and attention.
