BC Wildfire Service say the wildfire burning east of Cultus Lake in Chilliwack is now 95 per cent contained.
Donna MacPherson, with BC Wildfire Service said they hope to have the blaze 100 per cent contained by Sunday night.
She said although winds picked up the fire has not grown.

“The fire remains at 17.2 hectares in size,” said MacPherson.

Crews have been battling the fire since it was first reported Friday afternoon around 3 p.m.
MacPherson said a total of 40 firefighters are still at the scene.
She said they will be doing a mop-up by walking the fire 50 feet inside the perimeter line looking for any heat.
