Apple fans camped out for hours in Winnipeg to get their hands on the iPhone 5.
There were around 150 people standing in line outside the Apple store in Polo Park Shopping Centre Friday.
The first of the die-hard shoppers started gathering at the mall Thursday afternoon hoping to pick up the gadget when the doors open at 8:00 a.m. Friday.
The handset has become a hot seller despite initial lukewarm reviews and new map software that is glitch prone. Apple received 2 million orders in the first 24 hours of announcing its release date, more than twice the number for the iPhone 4S in the same period when that phone.
