Leaking water on Saint-Antoine Street and Brewster Avenue forced road closures.
“There’s a lot of work from the MTQ, Hydro-Quebec, Gaz Metro,” said Sud-Ouest borough mayor Benoit Dorais.
“It’s a lot. For now we are doing 100 per cent of the effort to fix those events.”
Dorais said that work to replace the 90-year-old pipes will start in one month.
