Kate Middleton has a Rio 2016 Olympian doppelgänger

The Duchess of Cambridge seems to have a doppelgänger competing in Rio at the 2016 Olympic Games.

Pauline Ferrand-Prévot is a 24-year-old Olympic cyclist from France and spectators at the women’s road race final were quick to notice that she shares some of Kate Middleton’s familiar features.

People magazine described both women as having, “lynx-like eyes perched regally above perfect smiles from pristine teeth.”

The one difference between the two is that the British royal has chestnut-coloured hair and the cyclist rocks blond locks.

The 24-year-old holds an impressive resume: she’s the first person in the history of cycling to simultaneously hold the world road title, world cyclo-cross title, and world mountain bike title.

Ferrand-Prévot placed 26th in the women’s road race on Sunday and will compete in the women’s cross-country on August 20th.
