The body of a missing Cold Lake man was recovered Friday night from Blackett Lake.
The 31-year-old was fishing with a friend when the boat they were in capsized. According to RCMP, the man was unable to swim to shore.
Friends at a nearby campground activated an emergency beacon.
Members of the Lac La Biche RCMP along with the Alberta Park Service and local search and rescue aided in the recovery effort.
Police do not consider the man’s death suspicious.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
His name will not be released.
