A taste of Hudson: town’s only microbrewery opens for business

Brasserie Bois Blanc, the first microbrewery in Hudson, opened its doors to the public on July 30.

It’s the only microbrewery in the area and it serves four handmade kinds of brew that produce “quality, authentic beer without compromise.”

Brasserie Bois Blanc is the brainchild of Martin Brooks and Fred L’Ecuyer, who started brewing at home.

Before becoming brewers, L’Ecuyer worked in construction and Brooks was a teacher.

Both left their careers to pursue their dream.

The microbrewery is open Thursdays to Saturdays in the afternoon.

The rest of the time, the pair said they’re closed so they can concentrate on their recipes.
