Hold on to your hashbrowns: IHOP comes to Calgary

An American-based restaurant chain known for serving up stacks of steaming hot pancakes is coming to Calgary.

IHOP, formerly known as the International House of Pancakes, plans to open its first Calgary location sometime in November.

The eatery specializes in breakfast foods like omelets, waffles, crepes, French toast and classic bacon and eggs.

It will be located in south Calgary, in the Shawnessy area.

There are already IHOP locations in Edmonton and Lethbridge.
