A man is recovering from slash and stab wounds he received in an attack that Saskatoon police say was not random.
Officers were called to a home in the 200-block of Avenue V South at 1:09 a.m. CT on Wednesday for a report of an attack.

A man was found suffering from non-life threatening wounds to one of his arms and hands.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics from MD Ambulance for treatment.
A police dog tracked down the alleged assailant nearby.

A 29-year-old man is facing charges of aggravated assault, mischief and breach of conditional sentence orders.
Police say the pair is known to each other.
