U.S. retailer Nordstrom has announced it’s expanding into Canada beginning in 2014, and will be opening stores in Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto.
In Vancouver, the company will take up the space that will be vacated by Sears at Pacific Centre at the corner of Robson and Howe.

The Vancouver store will be a three-level, 230,000 square feet space, and will open in the spring of 2015.
“It’s exciting to finally have this opportunity to better serve our Canadian customers closer to home and we can’t wait to open our doors,” said Erik Nordstrom, president of stores for Nordstrom, in a release.
