WINNIPEG – Police have released photos and video of a second possible suspect wanted in connection to a vicious beating on Portage Ave. earlier this month.
Cyril Weenusk, 26, died after a violent altercation with a group of people near Portage and Donald Street on July 5th.

On July 15, Geordie Douglas Wood was arrested and charged with second degree murder. But police are still seeking other suspects in connection with the homicide and are now using images captured on area security cameras to help in the case.
On Thursday they released several photos and a video showing a young man wearing a black and white colored camouflaged jacked.

It’s not clear if the suspect is under 18, as a result police had to obtain a court order authorizing the release of the photos.
