Highway 97 is once again open to two way traffic from Princeton Avenue to Glenrosa Road. Highway 97C is also open to traffic.

There is limited visibility due to the Trepanier fire. Minor delays are expected.

Drive B.C. says Highway 97 is closed in both directions from Peachland to the junction with Highway 97C.

The closure is due to limited visibility due to smoke from the Peachland wildfire.

An alternate route is available southbound from Kelowna via Highway 97C to Highway 5A down to Highway 3 and back up to Highway 97. Another option is Highway 33 to Highway 3 and back to Highway 97.

A northbound detour is available via Highway 3 or Highway 3A to Highway 5A to Highway 97C.

There is no estimated time of re-opening.
