Saskatchewan RCMP say a man is dead as a result of a rollover on Sunday.

At around 1:35 p.m. CT, emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash about 3.5 kilometres northeast of Pierceland, Sask. on Highway 21.

Investigators said the northbound car lost control on a curve in the road and rolled.

There were five people from Big Island Lake Cree Territory in the vehicle.

The 59-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released by police.

Four passengers were taken by ambulance to hospital in Cold Lake, Alta. with undetermined injuries.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist has been called in to help with the investigation.
