A man has been charged with second-degree murder after a suspicious death in northern Saskatchewan.
At around 8:10 p.m. CT on July 9, police were called to the Pelican Narrows Health Center for a report of an unresponsive man.

Attempts to resuscitate Jordan Bedard, 19, were unsuccessful. He is from Sandy Bay, Sask..
Investigators determined Bedard had attended a social gathering at a Pelican Narrows, Sask. residence prior to him being taken to the clinic.
On July 14, RCMP arrested Brett Napoleon Michel, 19, and charged him with second-degree murder.

He made his first court appearance on Monday. His matter is adjourned until Aug. 9 at Prince Albert provincial court.
RCMP and the office of the chief coroner are still investigating.
