A sudden death in Pelican Narrows, Sask. is being treated as suspicious.

Police say they were called to the Pelican Narrows Health Centre just after 8 p.m. CT on Saturday for a report of an unresponsive man.

He was declared dead a short time later after attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. His name and age have not been released.

An autopsy is scheduled for later this week in Saskatoon.

No other details are being released at this time.

The Office of the Chief Coroner, major crime unit south and members of both the Prince Albert and Saskatoon general investigation sections are assisting Pelican Narrows RCMP with the investigation.
