It’s been almost one year since Calgary police found a 28-year-old man fighting for his life near a burning Nissan Murano, in the city’s northwest.
The SUV was engulfed in flames when officers found it parked in an alley in the 200 block of 28th Avenue northwest on Thursday September 8th, 2011.
Investigators say 28-year-old Ken Law was bound inside the vehicle and lit on fire.

He died in hospital the next day.
Police are pleading with the public to come forward if they have any information about the case.
Sunday will mark the one year anniversary of Law’s death.
Based on forensic DNA analysis of the restraints used, along with information from witnesses, investigators believe Law was with at least two other people for at least two hours before the fire.
Police think he was likely held at another location for a period of time.
Anyone who may have seen the victim or his 2003 Gold Nissan Murano, during the evening of Sept. 8, 2011 is asked to call police.
