Winnipeg police provide update on Thelma Krull case

WINNIPEG — One year to the day after Thelma Krull disappeared, Winnipeg police are set to give an update on the case.

The 57-year-old grandmother was last seen on a surveillance camera only July 11, 2015 at 7:23 a.m. in the East Kildonan area. She was out for a walk early that Saturday morning.

A pair of Krull’s glasses were found on the grounds of Valley Gardens Community Centre four days after she went missing. So far, that’s the only clue the Winnipeg police have found.

An update by a homicide unit officer on the case happened at 11:30 a.m. Monday morning.

At 8:30 p.m. Monday family and friends will hold a vigil at Kimberly Hill, behind the Valley Gardens Community Centre.
