WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police pulled a body from the Red River near St.Vital Park Wednesday afternoon.
Around 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, a passerby spotted something in the water and called 911. The Winnipeg police water rescue unit was dispatched and they pulled the body from the river.

Police have identified the body as an adult man. Officers said the death is not “suspicious.”
An autopsy is pending.
