A worker has been injured in an incident at a recycling facility in Burnaby this morning.
The incident happened at around 8:45 a.m. in 8000-block of Meadow Avenue.

WorkSafeBC confirms it is en route to investigate an explosion and fire at the facility.
The fire appears to be out.
The extent of the worker’s injuries is not known at this time.
WorkSafeBC says it’s too early to say why the explosion occurred.
