Webber has been laying low since the trade, but Global Okanagan caught up with him Friday in Sicamous — Weber’s hometown.

Weber, 30, played in 78 of the Nashville Predators’ 82 games in the 2015-16 season.

He scored 20 goals and had 31 assists.

The former Nashville Predator captain (2010 to 2016) has played a total of 763 regular NHL season games.
