Winnipeg police search for pair involved in vicious assault

WINNIPEG — A man and woman are wanted in connection to the assault of a hotel staff worker on Sunday.

Police responded to a hotel in the 500 block of Main Street at approximately 2:20 a.m. but the suspects fled the scene.

Donald “Rocky” Loupelle, 44, and a female in her 20’s entered the building and assaulted a 40-year-old staff member at the hotel after they were refused service, according to police.

Loupelle is wanted for aggravated assault. He is described as 5’7″ tall, 143 pounds and a medium build with dark hair, facial hair and brown eyes.

The female with Loupelle is described as in her 20’s, 5’9″ tall, 172 pounds with a medium build, dark hair and brown eyes.
