Impaired driving possible factor in Saskatoon crash

Drugs and/or alcohol may be a factor in a crash Wednesday evening that sent one person to a Saskatoon hospital.

Police say they were called out to the intersection of Avenue H North and 31st Street West at around 6:45 p.m. CT.

According to police, an eastbound vehicle on 31st Street ran a stop sign and collided with a northbound vehicle on Avenue H.

The woman driving the eastbound vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

People in the northbound vehicle were examined at the scene by paramedics but did not require further medical attention.

The investigation continues and charges are pending.
